DATE: April 26, 2025... OCCASION: the NFL draft is over, and the Browns have hopefully retooled--this calls for a celebration with a spring choice from a local brewer... GLASSWARE: Celebrator doppelbock pokal... pours from a 16 oz. can a fizzing, dark brown amber body full of bubbles that build a thinly smeared off-white head... caramel, toffee, light charcoal, copper and metallic hops, brown sugar, soft chocolate, and tea leaf--a solid collection of aromas for a malt-heavy offering... a lively, medium-bodied draw with texture and quality finish... creamy and fulfilling, lasting in its malt... this is a delicious, full-bodied, offering that is a great flagship...

Poured from a twelve ounce can, the color is a dark-medium brown with a single finger of head that quickly dissipated. Light lacing.
Aroma is a light sweet mix of biscuit and malt. Taste follows nose with the sweetness slightly boosted - some caramel notes set against a balancing light hop bitterness - as well as some nuttiness.
Mouthfeel is soft as is the carbonation. An easy drinking bock that should please devotees of the style

Has a deep dark mahogany appearance
Feel is a little thin with about medium carbonation.
Aroma is malt, molasses, brown sugar, with some dark bread.
Taste is very similar to aroma, not as sweet as aroma suggests . Despite malt it almost has a dryness to it.
I like this brewery and this was maybe not their best its still a very good beer thats worth trying

a: beautiful mahogany cheery color with some dark amber and purple notes. large, 2-3 finger rocky tan head
s: lager spice, cardboard, sweet caramel malts, dark fruits, toasted clove spice, huge crackery malt and some pepper
t: dark sweet carmel, a hint of roasted malt, brown sugar, and molasses upfront. clove and pepper spice behind that with a nice lager crispness. sweet berries and light raisins behind that. big doughy malt backbone to this
m: solid medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation
o: a decent Bock. sweet, with some nice crispness. nothing great, but not terrible either
