Fiery chunks of granite were heated directly over flames with specialty wood. We introduced the hot stones into the wort, which creates a caramel-y, smoky flavor.

Medium orange/chestnut look. Smells like a nearly unsmoked rauch bier, with an off-dry (nearly sweet), medium heavy roasted grains and caramelized malt. A bit of creaminess to the mouthfeel. Flavors of slight sweet floral, medium toasted, caramelized malt, with the slightest whiff of spiced, medium roasted wood, underneath and is in the finish.
