Purchased at Pennridge Beverage, Perkasie, PA. 4pk/16oz cans

Pours a semi-opaque golden blond color. A fizzy, half finger head on the initial pour that quickly fades.

The most predominate aroma is of coffee.

A delicous stout. The taste follows the nose with deep roasted coffee, sweet chocolate with a slight nutty flavor. Slightly sour, bitter aftertaste. The ABV is well hidden.

Thinner consistency, mild carbonation.

A very different style of stout than I’m used too. However, the flavors all work together to create a very tasty brew. Due to the sweetness, this is more of a one-a-night, dessert-style beer for me. Overall, I really enjoyed it…cheers!

Nice! Pours a cloudy light amber into a pint glass with a long lasting white foamy head. The aroma is of chocolate, vanilla and nuts and the taste follows through along with a slight balancing bitterness. The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium and comfortable. Overall a good example of a blonde stout!

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 11/10/22, so over a year old.

Massive white head tops a clear amber body until the last 2ozs are poured in. Fat rings of lacing. Aroma is sweet and chocolatey. On tasting, there is a light bitterness running throughout which cuts the sweet chocolate and nut notes. Finish is lastingly bitter, and a little dusty. Interesting beer, as golden stouts tend to be, but once in a while is enough.

Had this on tap at House of 1000 Beers in Wexford, PA. Poured a beautiful, bright golden yellow color with nice head and lacing it smells and tastes just like the description says: macadamia nuts, vanilla, white chocolate, some strong coffee, very flavorful! Full feel. Enjoyed this beer on a fine Christmas Eve afternoon!

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Nearly clear honey golden pour with big foamy white head. Solid lacing.

S: Sweet and nutty. Vanilla, toasted grains, and cocoa.

T.F: Semi-sweet... roasted grains with chocolate and vanilla. Nut/Macadamia definitely present... more white chocolate and a little espresso. Medium bodied... sweet white cocoa finish.

O: A dessert brew... and it delivers on the white chocolate and macadamia. Not one I'd want regularly but made for a nice change of pace.

Pours a pale amber with an off white head.

Smells of chocolate, vanilla, nutty malt, and a slightly floral hop.

Chocolate, vanilla, coffee, nut malt, and a dry floral finish. an excellent stout.

Look: It pours golden and clear. It has a white head with very good head retention.

Smell: It has the aromas of coffee roast, and nuts. There are some chocolate notes as well.

Taste: It has some coffee flavors with chocolate and nuts. It has a powdery note with spicy elements.

Feel: It has a medium body.

Overall, the flavors of the chocolate and nuts seem to clash with the hops.

Poured into a 16 oz tulip glass not sure when it was canned. Pours dark orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves a thin wall of lace with nice retention. 4.25

Aroma is cocoa nibs, dry coffee grounds, macadamia nuts, and a hint of vanilla beans. 3.75

Taste follows cocoa, coffee, macadamia nuts, and vanilla. 3.75

Mouthfeel is bigger than average, not really dry, pretty gentle carbonation, and at 8% ABV rather easy drinking. 4

Overall not a style that ever dazzles me, but always try when possible to see if one could. Thanks @jzeilinger for this can. 3.75

A - Hazy dark gold color with a dense, thin white layer of cream settling on top.

S - Nice roasty aroma with light roasted dark chocolate, some char, and roasty white chocolate.

T - Roasty white chocolate from start to finish, some coffee, and ends with a lingering coffee bitterness along with roasted white chocolate sweetness to round out any residual bitterness.

M - Thick and soft mouthfeel with some carbonated pricklies poking the tongue. Dry on the back of the tongue while wet throughout the rest of the mouth.

O - Something different for a change and an enjoyable sipper. The ABV is well hidden, I might add.

ONE PINT can
Served in a snifter

This beer pours a brilliant golden color. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves decent lacing.

It actually has a white chocolate aroma. There is something else there. I assume that is the macadamia.

The taste is a bit cloying. I get white chocolate. There is some chocolate and hints of macadamia nut.

Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel

This is pretty good. It is a little on the sweet side. I'd probably drink it again.

Just below average carbonation with about medium body.
Aroma is white chocolate, macadamia, malt, sugary,
Mildly sweet with a mild bitterness that intensifies and lingers. White chocolate isnt intense with the macadamia being a little stronger
Interesting beer, not a knock down a few in a row but one is good

Poured into grip shaped goblet: color is gold, light effervescence, head presents 1.5 fingers thick with off white color, head laces the glass and lingers with a thin top.

Smell is blend of light chocolate and roasted or baked macadamia - nots are a bit too emphatic to seem based on actual chocolate/nut additions, seems more likely as a natural flavoring addition.

Taste does not carry the aroma forward, it seems thinner but with limited ester and maybe more dry spice like notes (similar to a spiced pumpkin); malt is light and toasted, hint of dry nuttiness, then linger solvent like note. The aroma/flavor dichotomy is initially difficult to perceive but with warmth the chocolate/macadamia notes focus on the aroma and the flavor is drying, sharp.

Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweet fullness, then sharper lingering bitter dryness.

Overall an odd ale - on the surface it looks great as a golden chocolate ale but the notes of white chocolate and macadamia seem a bit too overdone and the flavor presents this aroma/flavor discrepancy with some discernment.
