Slightly dank hop quality upfront, leading into a smooth and juicy hop paradise with a subtle bite.

Taster at brewery. Clear golden pour, wispy head. Bready aroma, trace of hops. Taste is sweet, light bready malts, and sticky, resiny hops. Very smooth for a DIPA

The brewer's notes are dead on-dank hop quality upfront, leading into a smooth and juicy hop paradise with a subtle bite..... Definitely agree with this description!
Metallic on the nose and an odd finish-not one of our favorites, but still a great beer!

Pours a non hazy IPA orange, aroma is different, I get the dry hops and pine, but something else, like a sour melon tartness. Taste is hoppy, earthy, bitter , different, but a good beer.

Reckon we'll pour a pint can into a clear glass liter mug to reckon with it. First, it's a rich and murky amber brew with just the right amount of enduring head on top. There's some OK glass lacing. Aromas of hops, malt and yeast emanate from the vessels. This is just what an Imperial IPA should provide. The sturdy body is built by a solid barley malt, which provides a very smooth medium and some sweetness to play off the bitterness of the hops. No, it’s not among the elites. There is just a little overly pronounced alcohol presence for that, but this is real good.

Notes via stream of consciousness: Great label artwork, and great name. Will the beer live up to those? It's poured a cloudy golden body beneath a full head of white foam that seems to be holding quite well. The aroma is floral and citrusy with orange and lemon and pine. I hate to say it but my first whiff reminded me a little bit of Pine-Sol. Let me try it again... ahh, there's some sweet malt to it as well, which seems a little bit wheaty. It's not as bad as I made it out to be, but neither is it a great aroma. On to the taste... well there's plenty of pine there so that explains my first impressions of the aroma. The orange and the lemon remain, and there's some apple, peach, and sweet berry as well. The pine is threaded through from start to finish and it finishes dry with a good amount of pine lingering. At this point the head has dropped to a thin but creamy collar, and there's a nice craggy ring of lace wrapped around the glass. It's delicately zesty and then smooth across the palate with a medium-light body and fine-bubbled, slightly restrained carbonation. I've come to like this quite a bit. It's bright and fresh, and sweetish and fruity but also a little bit biting with both pine and bitterness. I'm sure the alcohol is adding something into that as well but I don't really get it except at the back of the mouth after it's gone. It's unusual.

Light lacing on the side of the glass with a thin foam. Color cloudy amber. Pleasant piney tone to the nose. Light taste with a slight flat tone. Slight smoke. Drinkable and not over bearing.

A: Lovely bright lemon peel pour sits a hazy sunset orange in the vessel. Lively is the carbonation with a two inch frumpy weathered white head that was fairly resilient. Multiple broken ring lace patterns down the glass walls.
S: Freshly squeezed lemon is met with a small touch of grapefruit. Peach and watermelon fruitiness is juicy and rounds out with a dry breadiness.
T: The flavor was tart orange and grapefruit, medium high bittering rate. A bit dry with some grapefruit and flowery citrus hops. There was some dry grassiness along with some peppery-herbal and bready orange dryness.
M: Powdery dry flowery feel on the tongue for mouthful. The carbonation was fairly smooth in comparison to the visual. Creamy soft and nice overall feel.
O: While the nose was fresh, and wet, the flavor showed a continuous dry hop bitterness sure to wreckon and parch the tongue. The 8% feels about right, here, spicy, and noticeable, but never distracting from the dry hoppy flavor. Small warming of grapefruit flower hops and alcohol.

trying out a new (I think) local beer that recently appeared on the shelf. short form - pretty decent opening effort but room for improvement.
One key point - I don't see any freshness dating - that's a no no in the modern era.
L: drinking from the can. very nice looking can. didn't think you could make a hop look so threatening.
S: aroma is very lime-like to me. pleasant enough but perhaps a bit one-dimensional and missing a lot of aromas you'd expect from a bit ipa
T: decent but again kind of an odd collection of flavors. lime, more bitter notes than a usual hazy. pretty good but definitely not killing it for me.
F: smooth. resiny
O: ok, not bad but could use some work. this is a crowded space
