16oz can into a pint glass. NO freshness dating.
Looks very nice in the glass. Deep burgundy brown body with a decent off white head. Small lacing.
Aroma is pretty much rum.
On tasting, the rum barrel aging pretty much crushes any brown ale base. But the buttery vanilla taste makes it an enjoyable drink.
Mouth closer to full than medium, finish a warm rum flavor.
Overall, despite the rum heaviness, this is not an unpleasant drink. A 12oz would have been more than enough though.
