Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is gold, not clear, head is off white and appears briefly at 1/4 inch then dissipates to thing ring, no lacing.
Smell is almond extract, light malt, toast, hint of honey sweetness.
Taste is similar with noticeable almond extract, light malt, honey like sweetness, almost too sweet but backing bitterness helps.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate/strong sweetness, lower bitterness and moderate lingering sharpness.
Overall a beer that achieves its name, if the almond extract flavor is acceptable to you; its not off putting its just more of an oddity.

Really surprised this beer hasn't got more reviews it's actually quite great for an Imperial brown ale. Not too bitter the honey really cuts through but it's not too dry or too overly sweet. Mouthfeel is pretty exceptional 8% is kind of syrupy but Goes Down Smooth. Overall for the price I paid around $3 is quite an exceptional Brew. Try some!

12oz bottle into a tall glass. Appears to have been bottled 2/26/20, so 5 1/2 months old. Described on the bottle as "Honey Almond Imperial Ale" Could not find on the Rusty Rail app, but appears on Untapped with several hundred logins.
Looks the part for a honey ale, deep rich clear honey colored body. Small white head shrinks to a ring and faint covering. Just a little lacing.
Light aroma of almond paste.
On tasting, frankly, it tastes like marzipan, but there is enough of a bitter finish to balance it out. Abv is apparent. Fortunately, I like marzipan, so I'm ok with this.
Mouth is full, finish is almond with a bitter touch right at the end.
Overall, I enjoyed this beer. Not something I would want too often, and I can see it would be a love/hate brew for many.
