L: burnt orange sunset color with generous light tan head. Hazy enough to be opaque. Head slowly fades leaving some lacing
S: faint papaya shifting into cotton candy; pretty subdued overall
T: firm, tangerine and orange juicy sweetness. Hints of candy come through. Later drinks bring out some sourness and pucker from the citrus.
F: smooth body. Sweetness mutes out anything harsh
O: very drinkable. Very enjoyable.
I picked this up due to the label calling out cotton candy. The cat has a pretty intense stare also. Interesting and drinkable.

a: pale pink color like grapefruit juice. 1 finger thin fizzy head that disappears quickly
s: grapefruit, tea leaf hops, some nasty vegetable mixture, and maybe some raspberry
t: a little raspberry at the beginning followed by an earthy bitterness. a nasty hit of lactose and that vegetable mixture that was in the nose. if this description doesn't sound appealing, that's because it isn't
m: fizzy, lighter side of medium. high carbonation
o: i'm sorry, but no. this just does not work. the rasberry, lactose, and vanilla - neither of them make this beer better. this one just doesn't work at all

16oz can, no date, served in a Duvel tulip glass.
Appearance: Translucent/cloudy peachy/raspberry orange, with a white foam with hints of pink to it. Some islands of lacing here and there.
Smell: Raspberry and floral. There is a bit of a floral soap aroma to this, but not in a bad way. No vanilla in the aroma that I can tell.
Taste: Raspberry tartness dominates, with some grapefruit and citrus bitterness. Just a tiny hint of underlying sweetness in all of this. No vanilla at all.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, nice thickness, sticky on the teeth.
Overall / Drinkability: The raspberry tartness goes very well with the citrus hop flavors. A bit on the tart/bitter side of a NEIPA, but there are citrus/juicy hop flavors in all of this. I'm not getting the vanilla at all under all the other flavors, not even as an accent, but the beer is still quite tasty and is rather enjoyable. It's an unusual combination of flavors, but it pairs nicely.

Poured into snifter from 16oz can. Nice tall head of slightly pink bubbles. Appearance is full haze and rust colored. Smells of raspberry. It's quite delicious, seems more bitter than the 40 IBU suggests on the can. The raspberry is subtle as well as the vanilla. It's certainly unique in a world of IPA's.

This was a very strange beer the raspberry wasn't really fruit forward but blended very well with the hop bitterness. the soft vanilla tones and touch of cracker malt really made for a pleasant drinking experience. Not a bad experimental!
