From a pint can poured into a goblet.
Dark pour, nice thick off-white head, minimal slippery lacing.
Roasted caramelized malt, and bourbon barrel flavor dominates, dark roasted coffee bean flavor permeates.
A tad boozy at 9.2%. The body and mouthfeel are a little lighter than anticipated, but have a full bodied flavor. Perhaps a larger portion of oatmeal would remedy this?
The bourbon flavor lingers after the finish.
A tasty barrel-aged coffee oatmeal Stout!

Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my snifter. Date stamp appears to be January 3 2023. so must be a best before date, unless time travel!
The beer pours a cola brown color with a fluffy tan head of 3 cm foams up and fades slowly to a sturdy surface layer. Very dense clingy lattice forms when I swirl the glass. The foam sticks around through entire sampling.
Aroma is some roasted malt notes and dark chocolate with some sweet bourbon scents mixed in the background. The bourbon is there but definitely not dominant.
First sip reveals a medium body with fine tingly carbonation. The carb is actually sort of prickly as it rolls across my palate.
Flavor is roasted malts some coffee grounds and dark chocolate. Almost bakers choc flavor, so bordering on bitter. Bourbon is almost non-existent, but there is also no warming booze or fusol notes. The beer drinks pretty easy.
Not flawed anywhere, but not super robust or memorable either, just fine. I am not sure I would buy it again, but also wouldnt turn it down at a party.

Pretty thin up front. I get minimal roast and weak coffee. The finish improves dramatically though. There's a sweet nuttiness, bitter cocoa, a bit of vanilla, and faint oak. The body is a bit on the watery side. The barrel aging is pretty faint, but this is enjoyable overall.

16 ounce can, looks like the canning date is 12/24/20, thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that stuck around a while. Good amount of lacing, too. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like bourbon, vanilla, roasted malt, earthy hops and oak. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some burnt/charred malt and bittersweet chocolate flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall barrel aged stout, definitely worth a try if you've never had it before. Need to try more of their other brews!

Maybe it's just me but this beer was rather simple not much bourbon or oak to the body but it was pretty balanced with low bitterness and some roast and chocolate. I think the only saving grace is again it's balanced and comes in pounder forum. Not sure if I would buy it again.

From the 16oz can in a snifter. This nice brew pours a rich
coal black with a nice head of light brown foam that settles to
a thick layer with excellent lacing. Nose of bourbon, wet oak,
earthy malts, faint dark chocolate, and faint vanilla. Flavors
pass the nose with dark cocoa, light dark coffee, bourbon,
vanilla, woodsy oak, light char, deep roast, and subtle
herbal hop notes. Nice mouth feel; full body, smooth,
coating, moderately rich yet highly drinkable, and a
bitter malt finish.

Overall, a very nice addition to the Rusty Rail family!

Cheers
