Poured into a tall pint glass: color is amber, transparent, head is very light tan with fine bubbles, head presents 1 finger thick and lingers very well, nice lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is light but the smoke and sourness emerge - smoke is sweeter wood, sourness is not that tart but notable.
Taste is upfront smoke - neutral/sweet wood like flavor, light sweet malt, then some sourness, but not tart or sweet sourness.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, limited bitterness, sourness presents last and really is dominated by the smokiness.
Overall a really great idea and well executed smokey/sour brew - great to try something different, packaged no less.
