Got in a BIF from Ozzylizard. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 05/25/2022. Pours Fairly hazy/cloudy golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a nice cap. Dense soapy lacing on the glass, and some streaming carbonation. Aromas of sour lemon, cherry, dragon fruit, berry, pear, kiwi, green apple, white wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and lacto/Brett funk. Taste follows with tart lemon, cherry, dragon fruit, berry, pear, kiwi, green apple, white wine, citrus peel, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, peppercorn, pine, and lacto/Brett funk. Light-medium fruit/lactic tartness, pine/herbal/grassy bitterness, and Brett spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing finish. Balanced grainy malt, lactic acid, and sticky hop mouthfeel. Lingering resin dryness with no pucker/astringency. Very drinkable for a sour, plenty of Brett complexity from being around 3 years old. Wasn't as sour as the nose led me to believe, but very well made for the style.

DATE: August 5, 2023... OCCASION: another fire night with Shan after resurrecting the walkway lights and the back tree line... GLASSWARE: Lindemans tulip... a hazy golden body evocative of the sun sizzles with streams of effervescence that builds a foamy shoreline above... pink lemonade, bitter tea leaf, flowery esters, and a bit of tang... refreshing, though light if not thin... it sips much like a mimosa or a painkiller might, with less heft or creaminess.... viscous but soft, it is crushable, save its tartness that slows its roll... and tart it is, sharp at the tongue and aggressive at the throat--the lemonade melds with orange, tangerine, and sugars to project a mixed-drink persona that refreshes... lime and salt can be detected late, making this even more reminiscent of a beach drink... tough I didn't need this for Maureen's 70th's afterparty, I am glad I bought it--RR does this style well, and it pairs well with a starlit sky and a fire...
