Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a rich golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of pine, some citrus. Taste follows the aroma, malts are present, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

On tap in an Imperial glass. Clear golden color, West Coast style. Good head retention and lacing. Tastes of pine and citrus. No alcohol taste evident.
All told, an excellent representation of the style, the best I’ve had from this brewer.

Purchased at Bound Beverage, Warrington, PA. Part of a Rusty Rail Variety Pack.
Pours a semi-opaque, hazy, honey yellow color. Half-finger head on the initial pour. Sticky lacing on the glass even after only a few sips.
Aroma of hoppy goodness.
A delicous west coast IPA. Dank, hoppy and piney on the initial sip. Just a bit of sweetness to cut through the bitterness. The ABV isn't noticeable.
Medium consistancy, mild carbonation.
A good, middle of the road IPA. Nothing that screams "amazing" but a really nice IPA from Rusty Rail. I'm really enjoying their lineup...cheers!

Unfortunately, it's just another starchy white foamed pour to empty a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. Seen too many times before, the foam then recedes unevenly and unattractively, leaving irregular glass lacing. The smell is somewhat bland, although indistinct starch and some sort of hops are picked up. It's well carbonated with a nice honey-amber color that's mildly opaque. It's a good looking brew, except for the foamy mess, which far too often means wheat and/or oats instead of barley in the wort. Therefore, a lighter body and much less complexity and balance to the overall taste is expected. That's exactly what occurs when this finally gets to the mouth. This one has a great hop taste that is juicy without being sweet and bitter enough without being astringent. The hops taste fresh, full flavored and complex. They're earthy, piney and tropical, without an emphasis on any one. The mouthfeel, although not terrible, holds this back, as the body is a little too thin and there's almost no malt counterbalance to the hops. There is some complex sweetness, but that's about it. Overall, this is a good American IPA, separated from excellence by a shortchanged body.

Poured into a narrow imperial pint glass: color is straw gold, slight chill haze but nearly transparent, head is frothy brighter white, head presents 1 inch thick and lingers with a solid top and spotty lacing.
Smell is citrus dominant, lighter pine, some lime and berry, light earth, some light malt sweetness.
Taste is more hop and malt balance: flavor is citrus, pine, earth, lime; malt notes are light toast and biscuit.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, lower bitterness.
Overall an easy drinking, fairly clean IPA.

16oz can into a pint glass. Freshness dating indecipherable.
Looks very good. Crystal clear golden yellow body with a decent white head. This shrinks to a ring, and leaves scattered lacing.
Mixed pine/citrus aroma.
On tasting, slightly spicy dry hopped taste with a nice progression into sweet fruit then grapefruit bitterness.
Mouth between medium and full, finish grapefruit.
Overall, nice pint. Love the movement of flavors.

11/26/22 Stopped at Rusty Rail Brewing in Mifflinburg, PA after Christmas on our way to Bethlehem (PA)
Think skunk wearing a lei and grass skirt!
Very drawing of the mouth, sharp grapefruit, and papaya finish. Quality, different IPA!
