I quite like this one flavors of raspberry dark chocolate and Smoky coffee round out a bit of sugary sweetness with a very mild hop presence. Body is fair for 6% goes down smooth. Worth the 2.50 I paid for the pounder

Tempted by another chocolate stout, a pint can gets emptied into a clear glass liter mug. The pour produces much more foam than the typical stout. Also, it's not the dark coffee brown color of most, it's a little more just brown. But, it's the foam that's problematic. It's like those overly starched by wheat and/or oat based brews, now so abundant. The foamy mess is tan. The aroma is good, as there is some raspberry, along with the chocolate and roasted barley. But, it's somewhat superficial, there's no depth. The taste is true to the advertised ingredients. This brings the same flavors as a raspberry pastry downed with a hot chocolate, or maybe a mochachino. This has a nice flavor balance between the raspberry, chocolate and standard stout. The body runs a little thin, just like the glass lacing. Overall, it's a marginally desert beer that could be had anytime.
