Poured into a wide mouth grip shaped goblet: color is murky gold, off white head presents less than 1 finger thick and dissipates quickly to nothing but light ring along glass sides.
Smell is light but notes of citrus, orange juice, light malt, sugar.
Taste is mixed malt, citrus, orange juice, some pithiness, citrus/orange seems to hide any Belgian yeast character and not picking up coriander.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, sweeter than a base tripel, limited or no bitterness.
Overall this seemed a bit flat in presence and flavor - definite citrus/orange component but limited in tripel qualities. Would like to see some yeast character come through and lower sweetness.
