Poured into a narrow imperial pint glass: color is gold, transparent, good effervescence, large 3 finger head presents with frothy mixed bubbles, lingering top and lacing on the sides.
Smell is neutral with light pilsner malt, but no real strength other than light, very light citrus.
Taste similarly light and clean with hint of pilsner malt and light earthy and citric hop character; this his the cold ipa mark in terms of clean fermentation but lacks the IPA oomph.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, lower sweetness, lower bitterness.
Overall a clean but lightly hopped cold IPA; it needs a bit more bitterness, aroma, and hop flavor.

This starts off with the worst characteristics of today's American IPAs. The pour that emptied a pint can's contents into a clear glass liter mug produced an enormous amount of stark white foam. It receded unevenly, irregularly and unattractively. The liquid isn't much prettier. It's a thin and dull lightly yellow-amber with a haziness to it. There's a vague, maybe citrus aspect for the aroma, but not at all noteworthy. With almost no backbone at all, let alone one that includes a malty presence, this tastes weak. Perhaps a hoppy bite could have salvaged at least an OK for the overall, but no. There's no nice way to put this; so bluntly, this is unworthy of a tasting. The artwork on the label exceeds the brewing craft, by far. There's no body, no visual other than some lacing in the glass and most of all, no major hop taste. This is remarkable by including Simcoe hops and not making that part of the overall taste. When some stratified, but irregular glass lacing is the best attribute of a brew, it's probably not worth the effort, nor money. That's this.

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 12/23/23, so a month old. Described as a Cold IPA.
Bright crystal clear golden body with a persistent bright white head. This leaves rings of lacing throughout the drink. Aroma is pretty neutral, hard to get much of anything. Taste is decent, quite pleasant, mild in both hop and malt. Slightly sweet. The finish is a bit odd, at times quite a drying bitterness, other times not so much.
