On tap at the de Garde event this past Saturday.
The beer pours a hazy yellow gold color with good head retention and lacing. On the nose, this is just outrageous. The Guava aroma is huge, but the citra hops add another layer of aroma that is just off the charts. To me, I felt like I was getting citrus, sweet rhubarb pie, and even something of a sweet red cabbage. This is just wild. On the palate, strangely enough, I seemed to get a lot of lemon and lime, coupled with some sweet ice tea, all wrapped up in a moderately sour package. The intensity of flavor in this beer is just astonishing. Mouthfeel is actually fairly light otherwise, and the finish is long and intensely sour.
While this sort of beer is really not my cup of tea, it was impossible not to be hugely impressed by this beer. One of the most unusual, and most interesting beers I've ever sampled.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
