Zarza Marron or "Brown Bramble" is a sour brown ale aged on cranberries, blackberries and raspberries. Subtle malt backbone provides a foundation for a pronounced acidity and big jammy berry flavors.

Love when breweries put a new twist on an old classic style. This is a perfect example, where casa agria makes a wonderful oud bruin, complete with belgian yeast, molasses, slight vinegar, dark fruit and brown sugar, and adds jammy and juicy cranberries, blackberries, and raspberries. This is especially true on the finish with a acidic and sour pop of berry. Smell is so refined and pure, invokes images of an elegant picnic in a field of berries on a sunny day. Feel has chewy and creamy base, with sour, acidic, and smooth feel accenting

Poured a deep ruby-purple color in the glass, with not much of a head. But the aromas and flavors were undeniable: raspberries, blackberries, cranberries, juicy juicy juicy. It was my favorite of what I tried at Casa Agria. One of the best Oud Bruins I have ever had.
