Creepy Crawly is our seasonal Imperial Milk Stout conditioned on Cocoa Nibs and Coffee from our friends at Ragamuffin coffee. Don't fall into the melancholic decay of autumn!

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque black in the glass with a two finger khaki head with great retention and nice lacing; looks great. Aroma of dark toasted malt, coffee, dry caramel and chocolate. Flavor is dark toasted malt, dry caramel, quality coffee and dark chocolate. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess and nice mouth feel. A stellar coffee stout with fine coffee character and great chocolate and toasted malt flavors. This stout looked great on pouring, smelled inviting and tasted great, just fine across the board. A great introduction to the brewery; I'll be watching for them again.

Went to check a different RIS and tried this, too. The name, Creepy Crawly, is a 2.0 and does not do it justice. Dark as night with a thin khaki head. Nice lacing, good viscosity. Nice notes of burnt caramel, dark choc and figs with a great finish, like coffee with too much cream. Liked this over the ‘name Imp Stout that I went to try.
