Mas Frambuesa is a celebration of raspberries, doubling the amount of fruit used for our frambuesa de la Casa. It all begins by aging our mature foeder saison on a very high concentration of raspberries. Following several months of re-fermentation Mas Frambuesa is then blended with more foeder saison to the preferred balance of fruit and acidity.

750ml bottle, blend 1. Snifter glass. Pours a medium darker ruby reddish body, one finger white head, fair retention, bit of lacing. Smell is massive bright jammy raspberry, light lemon, mild acetic acidity, touch of oak and smooth lactate. Flavour follows, more integrated with a big jammy raspberry fruit presence, tart raspberry fruit with a mouthwatering, lactic acidity, moderate acetic tartness. Good carbonation, medium bodied, smooth and creamy. This is great, although it doesn't seem to have any more fruit than the regular Frambuesa.

Tasted in a snifter from draft at More Brewing Co. on December 14, 2018. Mature foeder saison aged on a very high concentration on raspberries. One of the best fruited saisons I have ever tried.
