Clear golden amber brew with plenty of foam in the Duvel tulip. Light and spritzy on the tongue. Alive with pleasure! Aromatic with hops in some Euro style but not very bittter. There is just a burr of bitter aftertaste to go with the warm malty, cereal flavor. This is perfectly drinkable and manages to be interesting for a style that's often dull. The fact that's so satisfying with the lower alcohol is also a plus. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea's. Dated 11/16/22.

I’m going to preface this by saying I haven’t had a lot of Helles beers (maybe 30), but this is the best Helles I’ve personally ever had. The combination of the light and yeasty malts with the traditional German hops is addictive. It’s a transparent yellow color with ample white head with good retention and lacing. The feel is light to medium body. I found the carbonation level just fine, if anything the large carbonation bubbles constantly streaming to the top were distracting.

damn this refreshing on a warm, humid afternoon! great interpretation and without the extra hoppy american twist! i would do this one over and over again! if anything, it could use a little more carbonation, but my experience may have been hampered by my glassware...
