Light golden yellow brew with long-lasting foam in the Duvel nonic. Smooth and mellow to start with a delirious fragrance of freesias and melon. Full of Mosaic and Simcoe hops they say. This has that intense dreamy flavor I call a hop liqueur, only not overly sugary. It is somewhat sweet and malty, but in the nicest way. The flavor is somewhere between honeydew melon and Rose's lime juice. Then there is orange, mango, and really ripe cantaloupe. Not very bitter but no trace of the dreaded hazy gunk. I can't think when I've had a better DIPA. I am going back for more if O'Shea's still has it. From the 16 oz can dated 9/5/2023.
