Bottle at share. Dark brown pour, thin beige head. Rich brown sugar/molasses notes with a boozy edge. Vanilla, cocoa, caramel and plums. Exceptionally smooth.

Sweet molasses, caramel malty, hint of dark fruit, and hint of boozy barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a raisin/fig dark fruity, brown sugar malty, and boozy barrel heat finish. The backend of the finish is a little thin...and , as it warms, it starts to become a little disjointed and muddled. To be fair, this was bottled up in 2020, so that may be the beer showing its age a bit...It was definitely more enjoyable when it was colder. Still good, but not as good as I was expecting.
