L: Pours a glossy, nearly black color.
S: The nose is oaky bourbon barrel and a hint of maple-like sweetness.
T: Exquisite barrels are the star of the show, imparting oak flavor with nuanced hints of malted barley, rye, caramel, maple, cinnamon, clove, licorice, white pepper, cola, and tobacco. It’s sweet, but the barrel and a hint of peppery spiciness cuts through it and prevents it from becoming cloying. The alcohol is very well masked for 14.8% abv.
F: Medium to thick body.
O: Pretty badass.
