Pours opaque black, tan head dissipates to a ring.
Aroma of cocoa, toast, walnut, and coffee bean.
Taste is toasty and nutty, walnut and macadamia, with a lightly chocolate finish. Whisper of oak in the aftertaste.
Medium velvety body with tingly carbonation on the tongue.
This is a very nice, smooth stout. It's not a rich flavor bomb like a lot of imperial stouts. This one is more subdued and very easy drinking. Good flavor, definitely worth a try.
