This cask conditioned high gravity porter is opaque with a crimson hue and full body. Its firm malt character contains strong toasted chocolate notes that melt away nicely on a warming alcohol backdrop. Enjoy!

Sampled from a firkin at The Classic City Brewfest, in Athens GA. It is black as pitch, opaque, and wears a seductively beautiful crown of thick, luxurious mocha colored head.
The amoma is deep and full of dark, toasted malt sweetness, coffee bitterness, and creamy, bittersweet chocolate notes.
Deep chocolate flavors combine with rich malt, roasted coffee, and warming alcohol that I would estimate is around 8-9 %. This is quite well put together, the cask-conditioning really suits a beer this bold.
The body is full and creamy with fine trickling carbonation and a lasting mouthfull of bittersweet flavors. Another one of the highlights from this fine festival.
