This English style ale is faint copper in color with a light body. Its character is mildly malty with hints of toffee and hops. The finish is wonderfully crisp with minerally overtones.

From a cask at the 2016 Atlanta Cask Ale Festival.
Copper colored body with a decent bubbly head.
Sweet aroma with a more bitter sweet balanced flavor.
Medium+ body with medium light carbonation.
Nice semisweet aftertaste with toffee and bread notes.

This beer pours a tawny straw color with a one-finger, whipped white head. Bubbles stick to the side like they do with so many nitro-assisted EPA's. The head sticks around for a good while before settling into a thin pancake on top leaving decent lacing.

Smells of buttery malts with hints of ripe light fruits and floral hop aromas.

Tastes similar to how it smells. Buttery malt flavors kick things off and continue throughout the sip, joined by slight nondescript fruit flavors and ending with a mild bitterness.

Mouthfeel is good. It's creamy with just enough soft carbonation to make it go down smoothly.

Drinkability is good. I could have a few of these, and the low ABV (although I don't remember it exactly) certainly makes this feasible.

Overall this is a more flavorful version of Boddington's. The malt flavors are more pronounced, although the fruit flavors and bitterness are about the same. A nice EPA from Copper Creek.
