This ale/lager hybrid is deep golden in color with a light body. Its hop character is bold with a hint of spice and citrus. The finish is refreshingly light and dry.

On-tap at the brewpub.
Pours a clear light copper color with a one-finger off-white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving decent lacing.
Smells of pale malts and lightly citrus hops with good amounts of earthy lager influences.
Tastes similar to how it smells. Pale malt flavors with hints of breadiness up front segue into mild amounts of citrus and leafy flavors soon after. Midway through the sip a slightly fruit and earthy influence from the lager yeast make an appearance and carry through to a mildly bitter ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a solid thickness with moderate carbonation.
Drinkability is also good. I finished my glass without a problem and could have another.
Overall this is a solid steam beer, comparable to the classic from Anchor. Well worth a shot.
