No, it won’t do your taxes. This is a tribute beer to the ’08 Centennial hop crop. We used the grain bill of our I.P.A. with 100% Centennial hop additions to allow this hop’s distinctive varietal characters to shine through. It boosts smooth malt with up front citrus and dry herbal notes.

On-tap the brewpub, an American IPA brewed solely with Centennial.

Pours a clear copper color with a one-finger off-white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving solid lacing.

Smells of a combination of pale and caramel malts with good amounts of floral and grapefruit hops.

Tastes similar to how it smells. Clean pale malts with mild amounts of caramel malt influence kick things off. Midway through the sip citrus and mildly earthy hop flavors join in. The hops carry through to a solidly bitter ending.

Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with smooth carbonation.

Drinkability is very good. I finished my glass quickly and could easily have a few more.

Overall I thought this was a crisp and easy-drinking single-hop beer. Well worth a try.
