Nothing can compare to the complex combination of aromas coupled with the long lasting bitter finish of a double IPA. Words don't do this beer justice.

On tap at the Surf 'N' Suds Beer Festival held at Carpenteria State Beach in Carpenteria, CA.
Pours a murky orange-brown with a foamy bone head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus zest, earthy hop, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, earth, black pepper, and herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that has a nice mix of different hop aspects all around.
Serving type: on tap.
