Can from Market of Choice. Fresh Strata hops with Galaxy and Citra? Sign me up.
A clear light amber with a dense, off-white head with good retention and lacing this looks solid. The nose has a mildly grassy fresh hop character, a blend of grass and weed, along with passionfruit, bitter fruity herbal character, candied orange peel. Minimal malt character. The palate opens moderately bitter and quite juicy with minimal grassy hop character. The fresh hop character is a lot milder on the palate than on the nose. A little bit more citrus pith on the palate than I care for (Citra and I having a falling out?) . Drying, bitter and fruity with pulpy passionfruit and citrus on the finish. A touch watery. Solid stuff.
