From a 32oz crowler picked up at the source in Oregon City, OR; aged 4 months in Bull Run Rye Whiskey barrels; 43 ibu
Poured into a Coin Toss Belgian-style tulip

p- cola color w/ a huge foamy off-white head; fairly quick recession
n- med-bold aroma of dark fruit (mainly cherries, figs) and sharp booze
t- follows nose; lots of dried dark fruit and sharp booze; med tartness in the finish; simple profile; decent, though
mf- light-med bodied; med-high carb; on the thin side; a bit coating
o- not a bad barrel-aged strong ale; nice fruit presence; the booziness wasn't overbearing, however it did make drinking through the crowler a bit tedious
