Garryowen Pale Ale is based on and brewed to an old recipe that was used in the 1740’s in one of Limerick City's oldest breweries, Newgate Brewery which sadly closed in the late 1800's. GarryOwen Pale Ale has a pleasantly mild, floral, slightly spicy and fruity aroma with a soft smooth finish. Taste and enjoy!

Bottled and I’m going to say probably not bottle conditioned due to it saying ‘serve cold’ on the label
Pours a fairly clear golden body with decent enough white head
Aroma is wheaty and yeasty
Flavour is pretty much the aroma, slight spiky bitter finish
Easy drinking

Bottle, possibly conditioned. Light amber with a long lasting frothy head.
A mild hoppy aroma. Light fruit and caramel.
Taste reflects the bouquet. A gentle tannic finish.
Quite a lightweight body with soft carbonation.
An unassuming and traditional EPA reflecting it's supposed heritage.
