Taste: solid roasted dark malts, chocolate, smooth lactose, vanilla bean, sweetish, and then dry tobacco notes. Same with the nose. Black/Brown, mostly opaque, with a tall tan foamy head with ring lace on the glass. A good after dinner stout. 47 IBUs

Unknown vintage; drank 6/18/17 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice khaki head; strong, frothy lace.
Cream, black coffee, dark chocolate & faint citrus notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Cream & fresh earth flavors up front; vanilla extract & black coffee notes on the finish.
A bit cloying & bit harsh as well; the 2 extremes don't really balance in any meaningful way, the flavors just clash. Drinkable but not one to track down.

Very smooth, clean taste. Last 3 batches have all been very consistent.
