A pint can purchased at the brewery with no date, but the plastic carrier has a date sticker stamped 08/08/17. Pouring it in a 12oz. tulip glass.
Look- Pours a cloudy pale yellow producing a small finger of creamy white foam. It slowly settles to a thin layer leaving moderate lacing behind.
Smell- Pineapple/orange/grapefruit juice along with some fresh cut flowers.
Taste- Clementine orange, mango, pineapple and papaya. Some floral notes and a little malt in the finish.
Feel- Pillowy soft and creamy with a slightly dry finish.
Overall- They tweaked the recipe with the yeast strain used in their NE IPA's and added oats. The Mouteka and Pacific Jade hops were used once again. These guys know the style and continue to dial it in with each batch. This one takes it to another level in my opinion. I could make this a regular in my fridge and will be going back for more.
