Enjoyed in cans obtained directly from the source, after trying a sample on draft. Pours a rich plum color, with a solid finger of head that dissipates with little retained lacing. Smells light, with characteristics of a witbier dueling with more traditional farmhouse notes. The blueberry contributes a gentle fruitiness, nothing overt that overshadows the base beer, but entering subtly into the aroma and the mid-palate. No bitterness from the blueberry skins. Well executed--an refreshing, easy sipper for a crisp evening.
