Kind of a nutty flavored dessert stout that tastes pretty good. Hazelnut, peanut, some other nuts, a bit of caramel over a base stout. Metallic and artificial.

Appearance - From the can, the beer poured a brownish black color with white bubbles crowning the glass.
Smell - The beer had sweet notes in the aroma, but there was also some thing not quite right.
Taste - If you are familiar with how antibiotics taste with some faintly fruity sweet flavor, that is a good reference point to start. This tasted like an antibiotic with light synthetic caramel flavors. Drinking this was like punishment.
Mouthfeel - The lactose gave the beer a smooth creamy feel.
Overall - Windmill’s cheesecake beers just seem like a bad mistake to me. I love their other options, but I don’t understand how people can drink this stuff.
