Appearance - The beer poured a brownish-black color with an off-white head.
Smell - The chai notes were strong in the nose.
Taste - Overall, this is a well-crafted milk stout. The cinnamon and chai notes were apparent. It was not overdone. Coffee notes, are inconsistent, but perhaps that is intended. The finish seemed more like a plain milk stout.
Mouthfeel - The smooth milky body had light carbonation.
Overall - More spice would have carried this beer further.
