Probably the best beer by Windmill that I have tried. Notes of cinnamon, vanilla, maple, bourbon barrel, banana. None of the flavors are artificial, and there is a good harmony. There’s enough interesting things going on here that it tastes different depending on what flavors are focused on. There is a French toast aspect, but then there is a banana aspect, and it is sweet but not too sweet. The bourbon barrel cuts through, but there is not a strong whisky taste, as it is a maple barrel. Feel is medium to thick. Oily black color with brown highlights and limited brown foam. Decent carbonation. Overall a good beer.
