Big open area, very tall ceilings, painted walls, wood bar top as tables, mostly just very open. the brewery is exposed as well. Football game (American football) playing with the sound, no music. Maybe 6 other people on the bar at 9pm on a Thursday.
Bartender was fairly knowledgeable and super friendly, and I mean like what Americans think of super friendly Canadians except also very energetic.
They had 8 of their own beers on tap, and one guest cider. Various styles, from Vienna lager, to DDH lager, from regular ipa to black ipa, a weizen wheat, and even a so-called "bock". The beers themselves were mixed, some decent and some not as good. Nothing terrible but nothing great either.
