Squirrel's Nuts Peanut Butter Porter

I got four tall boy cans of this beer from my business partner whose youngest daughter works for this fine brewery. It poured a deep rich amber with thin ecru ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had peanut butter and chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with peanut butter presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Take a peanut butter cup and mix it in your beer. That is the smell of this beer. Not terribly sweet but you can certainly taste the peanut butter. If you want a desert beer this is the way to go .
