Baseball and beer. Few things are more ingrained in America's psyche than baseball and beer. The histories of both are laden with traditions and transcendence. Rascals and radicals. Celebration and shared experience. Treasured summertime moments with sun on our faces and a beer in our hands. The timeless game defines our past and guides our future.

Lightly golden-straw hue with a lasting thick, white head. Aromas of sweet malt, floral with slight citrus are followed by delicate herbal notes. Faintly sweet giving way to mellow, lightly floral hop flavor and notes of banana and pears from our signature house yeast. Nicely balanced with a clean herbal-hopped finish makes this an enjoyably, quaffable ale.

Clear yellow color, big white head. Aroma of spices, citrus, Belgian yeast. Malty taste with notes of lemon, yeast and spices . Moderate bitterness in finish. Decent summer beer.

As expected, a beautifully crafted blond ale, very yeasty in aroma and taste. Hazy golden body with small creamy head. Delicious! Mild sweetness lingers for a bit.

Pours an interesting combination of straw and golden with an orange hue. Massive foamy head that almost spills over, the lace is sticky and frothy. A good looking brew.
Reminds of a Belgian aroma, fruity and spicy. Tart lemon, some orange peel and even an occasional honey malt like sweetness.
Lemony and peppery. The hops bitterness has a strong kick that is on the high side of moderate. The palate is semi dry, as is the finish, which is peppery and bitter. Crispy, medium to light body. As the drink warms, the mouthfeel becomes frothy and creamy from the dense head and lace that has retained.
A very refreshing brew and easy to drink. I could definitely pound a few. I've yet to be disappointed by Ommegang.

Bought a single bottle from Beers of the World on 11/14/15. Served cool (not cold) in a Duvel tulip.

Look: hazy honey amber. Thick white head, great lacing.

Smell: Soft malt, lemon zest, clove like yeast.

Taste: malty with a faint orchard fruitiness and yeasty spice.

Feel: chewy, thick.

Overall: another fine ale by Ommegang
