Poured from a 750mL bottle into a Teku glass. Bought at the brewery more than a year ago.
3.25/3.25/4/4/3.75
A: Light head fades quickly. Loads of sediment in an otherwise clear orange beer.
S: Flat smell, sweet caramel, some booze.
T/M: Loads of vanilla, still a touch of carbonation. The endtaste is sharp and strong, but not overbearing or unpleasant. A lot like normal Gnomegang on steroids. I may prefer the non-aged version; this is syrupier and boozier and much more sweet.
O: I'm not sure this beer will find wide appeal. I certainly took 13 months to drink it, because an 11+% beer is an intimidating thing. It's alright, but frankly a bit of a disappointment.

This one pours a light and slightly hazy orange, with a small head, and sheets of lacing.
Smells like stone fruit, vanilla cream, whiskey, and slight oxidation.
This is pretty interesting- not a beer that I'd guess would go well with bourbon barrel aging. It works though, there's a lot of apricot here, and slight fruity oxidation. The oak character is slight, but welcome, with a heavy whiskey character.
This is medium bodied and quite creamy, with a good level of carbonation.
This is a pretty unique beer. It's not their best barrel aged beer, but it's definitely worth a try.

750ml bottle. Brewery-only release, aged in Templeton rye barrels. Poured into a chalice.
Yeasty and a bit musty. Bready. Brush of herbal hops. Peppery. Fleeting tropical notes. A little papery in the nose and taste, suggesting it oxidized during its time in the barrel. Campfire-scorched marshmallow. Oak. Spicy rye whiskey finish. Stiff but not too hot. Soft and creamy body.
