750 ml bottle into an Ommegang flute glass- that was recommended on the bottle and I had one. Had 12/15/2018, believe it was released within of few months of that.
Pours dark, opaque, with a two inch foamy head with very good retention and a good amount of foamy lacing. Aroma is rum, raisins, malt, figs, purple grapes, light vanilla, some oak. The flavor starts with overwhelming rum, then malt, raisins, figs, some vanilla. Smooth, a good medium body that’s kind of strained to support the rum barrels, well carbonated.
Maybe my taste buds were off on this, coupled with having high expectations for it, but this was a bit disappointing. It was still pretty good, but the rum just dominates the subtleties and nuances of the base style and made it one dimensional. Have one bottle left and will update this if warranted.

Had a glass shared with friends, it was very dark brown with a foamy head that left decent lacing. Smelled of dark fruit with the raisins and figs coming through, along with black cherries, rum, caramel, faint spices and oaky notes. Flavor is just like the nose with rum, dark fruit, caramel, raisins, figs, black cherries, molasses, peppery spices, syrup and oaky notes. The age on this bottle made is sweet and boozy, but it tastes like all the ingredients listed on the label, which was nice. A really good experimental craft brew to split amongst a few people, I thought it was very enjoyable.

Poured from a cork'n'cage bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip.
L: Opaque dark mahogany brown pour. Cloudy/turbid and with 2 fingers of off-white head.
S: Hot and boozy. Strong rum... vanilla, oak, and a bit of yeast. Mostly rum.
T.F: Strong kick of rum... definitely boozy. Molasses, vanilla, and oak. The spirits dominate the beer, but after the rum starts to fall you do pick up some caramel, yeast, spice, and dark fruit. Boozy and warming. Medium bodied.
O: An interesting take on 'Siren's Song'. The rum dominates, but it's a fun brew and the Belgian does peek through, especially as it comes up to temperature. One that I'm glad I got to try.
