Served on-tap at BCTC 2008. This is a wild ale that has been aggressively dry hopped.

A: The ale is a muddy color, full of haze. Thick sediment is visible, suspended mid-beer.

S: The aroma is sour, tart with acidic bite. In an interesting twist, the sourness is met with a thick earthy hoppiness that is herbal and dirty.

T: Tartness and hops? Why has no one given this much thought until now. The mixture is sublime, accentuating the best of both worlds. The tartness is acidic with a low pucker factor. There is enough to make you appreciate it. The hops are earthy, herbal with a lively bite. The two meld seemlessly, with the sourness building to the hoppiness and then the hoppy oils taking you back to the tartness.

M: The best of the sour and bitter, the ale is refreshing while it keeps the tastebuds working overtime.

D: My wife, ksak, is owed thanks for this one. She camped out in front of the Ommegang table as they changed taps. She ended up getting the 2nd and 3rd pulls on the keg and this beer is a create Belgo-American hybrid.
