750ml bottle, tulip glass. Darker reddish copper body, one finger pink white head, good retention, bit of lacing. Smell is sweet berry- sort of non-specific berry but I am getting mostly raspberry and blackberry tartness, a bit of acidity that is prominently acetic rather than lactic, a touch of oak and leather, slight vinous character. Flavour follows, but this time there is a bit more of strawberry rather than the other berries, which is quite nice. Mildly tart berry followed by a bit of acetic acidity, light leathery astringency on the backend, more berries throughout. It's a very berry forward wild indeed, without much malt to balance out the fruit or acidity. Not bad, but a bit less complex than would be ideal. Still, delicious. Lighter in body, fizzy in carbonation, a bit light on body for a 8.5% beer.
