poured from a 16oz can into a goose island taster glass. pours pitch black with minimal dark mocha head that fizzles away quickly. smells like a chocolate peanut butter cup. really nice and inviting nose. taste is more peanut butter cup with a noticeable malted milk ball aftertaste. feel leaves a little something to be desired. a little on the thinner side which i can live with for a non-imperial pastry milk stout but it finishes with a cola-like spritziness that i can’t get over. still, a fun little milk stout that delivers on flavor and aroma.

16oz can, snifter glass. Pours a dark cola brown hued, otherwise massively dark black body, one finger dark mocha head, good retention, no lacing. Smell is big peanut butter cup, lactose and milk chocolate, nuttiness, a bit of dark chocolate; it essentially smells like melted Reese's PBC's. Flavour follows; big nutty milk chocolate, sweet peanut butter, lactose, more chocolate, and the very slightest hint of roast and earth. It's big on the peanut butter and lactose, as advertised. Mouthfeel is medium fuller bodied, creamy and soft, full of lactose, very mild, fairly mellow sweet milk chocolate background with a ton of nuttiness. Delicious, liquid peanut butter cups.
