Pours pitch black with one finger of khaki head. Looks viscous, oily in glass. Nose is sweet banana, fudge, crunchy peanut butter. Taste follows the nose with sweet banana upfront, not overpowering. Followed by fudge, milk chocolate and crushed nuts. Nuttiness on the back end stays on the tongue, Reese’s peanut butter cup comes to mind. Thick, silky mouthfeel. Overall, holy smokes! This is fantastic! Banana split with hot fudge and peanut butter. Barrel aging would be very exciting. Best banana stout I’ve had bar-none.
