One of four cans I picked up this weekend in Decorah, IA. If you stay tuned you’ll likely read about others.
The pour is slightly cluttered with sediment, but not much, to cloud the clearish golden liquid. The nose is lightly hopped pizza crust with crushed pears. No. that doesn’t sound right to me either.
No Filter messes with my pre-formed mold of lagers. It’s sharp, hoppy, aggressive, & nothing that I’d want to mindlessly sip in front of the lilacs. Pears, honeysuckle, champagne in the woods. Crisp but sparkling, almost seltzer-like. CRUSHABLE.
One of the best lagers I’ve had in a long time – tasty, easy-sippin’, unique. Excellent beer.

On tap at the brewery. Glad I ordered it because the restaurant later was out of it despite being on the menu! Lovely German keller.

Can. Pale golden straw yellow. Cloudy. White head.
Very dull and boring Keller. All the normal flavors of the style are subdue. I like most of pulpits offerings, but they have some work to do on this guy.
