I have mixed feelings about this place. The selection is great and worth a trip from South Haven if you have time during your visit. On the other hand make sure you have time to properly scope it out. A number of the craft and import offerings are separated to be sold as singles. They seem to separated by Michigan breweries in one area, but then the other craft offerings and imports are scattered about. My family waited in the car while I was shopping and the haphazard organization of things in the store drove me a big nuts. I did find some great things by Transient, Old Nation, and Shorts that I haven’t seen elsewhere so overall I was happy. It didn’t also help that I was here during rush hour and the 3 clerks were overwhelmed by the customers checking out. A couple of guys were trying to buy all of the Busch Light Apple which the store had just gotten in that day and so the clerk I was in line for was on the phone with someone higher up the chain sorting out how much they could buy. I ended up spending about 20 minutes between being in line and checking out. I would go back, but it would be at more of an off peak time.

I'm shocked by the lower scores here. 2.41?! Less than average? These guys carry just about everything obtainable in Michigan. Fantastic liquor and wine section, too. I'm a regular there, and the staff treats me very well. Yes, it's metal walls/concrete floor warehouse type building, but the inventory is the best in Kalamazoo. They have other locations, too.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this bottle shop in town. They have an expansive selection of craft beers, organized by Michigan –and then everyone else. Prices seemed on-par or slightly higher than retail (grocery stores et al), although the variety makes up for it. I felt like there was a bit of out of date stock, however, so watch for those bottle dates!

 

 

 

 

Name says it all. This place has a huge selection of all the local, regional and national good stuff that you are interested in. Extensive offerings of all the Michigan locals, which for this out of stater, was quite intriguing....singles, sixes, cases, they have it....plus all your other booze, smokes options..well worth a visit and quite easy to find off of the highway....was my go to place during a weeks stay in KZOO
