Very clear golden brew with a fine-grained white foam. The aroma is particularly lovely, something flowery but also bready-- and fresh corn? Crisp, light bodied in the nicest way. Hints of resin but a subtle whiff of papaya and dried apricots.
Just enough bitterness and a sharp finish. But still warm and malty. This has a distinctive and unusual taste that somehow has notes of blackberries and French bread. Farmstrong seems to be dialing down the over-bitter IPAs in favor of these lighter, brighter and highly drinkable brews. One of the best Pilsener styles I've had lately.
