This is brewed with a fairly new hop called Strata. It was developed by Oregon State University’s hop breeding program and is being grown and marketed by Portland-based Indie Hops.
Pours a beautiful clear golden amber, with a long-lasting white foam in the Troubadour tulip. The brewer says it's 55 IBUs and while this is eminently drinkable it tastes more bitter. But it is also well balanced with the modest malt and a hint of sweetness. Clean melon flavor with a resiny twist.
I can see Strata being a useful hop. It's certainly one of Farmstrong's better beers, complete with the bitter afterbite. From the 32 oz growler filled yesterday at Farmstrong's tasting room.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
